In Untitled Goose Game, the player plays as a naughty goose, who is terrorizing a village. Developed by House House and published by Panic Inc., the game was released on Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Nintendo Switch on September 20, 2019, and Xbox One and PS4 on December 17, 2019. A multiplayer mode was added on September 23, 2020.
The Goose can honk, pick up or drag objects, and interact with a number of items causing villagers to react to the Goose's naughtiness. Objectives are given the player by way of to-do lists. One objective (taking the beautiful miniature golden bell all the way home) will cause the game credits to appear, however the shenanigans continue afterwards.
The game has a progression-style element to it, where the player must accomplish a particular task (found on the to-do list) in order to unlock the next location. The Goose is free to swim the canal and explore its banks, and the first location (the Garden) is accessible via a hidden entrance (quite handy if the Goose gets locked in the Garden).
